CD Castellón’s supporters staged a rousing celebration on Sunday after a vital win over Deportivo de la Coruña lifted the team into sole leadership and kept the dream of the Primera División alive.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, a chant that has caught on among the fanbase rang out, "Albinegro el corazón, una ilusión nos persigue, la Primera división, lololo".

After the final whistle, the players headed to the end where the albinegro supporters, lively throughout and having unveiled a pre-match tifo, sang in unison. When the chant finished, they struck up the Castellón anthem to cap a striking finale.

Head coach Pablo Hernández and the club’s custodian, Haralabos Voulgaris, shared in the moment alongside the squad and fans.

Castellón closed a magical night still daring to dream, that sense of pursuit driving the albinegro faithful onward.
