CBF confirms Anderson Daronco to referee Flamengo v Santos in Brasileirão | OneFootball

CBF has confirmed Anderson Daronco as the referee for Flamengo v Santos in the 29th round of the Brasileirão, to be played at Vila Belmiro on eight October.

Assistant referees and the VAR team have not yet been named, so only the referee appointment is set at this stage.

Daronco has overseen five Flamengo matches in 2026, producing four wins and one draw with no defeats. That run yielded 13 of a possible 15 points in Brasileirão games under his watch.

Flamengo top the Brasileirão on 60 points, three clear of Palmeiras. They are also into the Libertadores semi-finals, where they will face Estudiantes (ARG).

During the FIFA international window, Série A clubs are using the pause to train and fine-tune. Flamengo are without Samuel Lino, Pedro, Anthony Valencia, Arrascaeta and Varela, who are on national-team duty.
