CBF has confirmed the dates and kick-off times for Palmeiras v Fortaleza in the 2026 Copa do Brasil last 16. The federation announced the schedule on Monday. Palmeiras advanced after knocking out Jacuipense and are bidding for a fifth title.

The first leg will be at Nubank Parque on Sunday two August at 16:00 Brasília time. The return is at Castelão on Wednesday five August at 21:30 Brasília time.

TV Globo, Sportv, Premiere and Amazon Prime will broadcast the ties.

This will be Palmeiras' 31st appearance in the competition. The club lifted the trophy in 1998, 2012, 2015 and 2020. They rank fourth for total titles, level with Corinthians and behind Grêmio and Flamengo on five and Cruzeiro on six.

Elsewhere in São Paulo state, Santos, São Paulo, Santo André and Paulista de Jundiaí have one title each. Palmeiras were runners-up in 1996 and have fallen four times in the semi-finals, nine in the quarter-finals and nine in the last 16. They have also exited twice in the last 32 and once in the last 64.
