The Brazilian Football Confederation has rescheduled Corinthians’ league match at Athletico Paranaense from 18 February to Thursday 19 February.

The federation said the switch is due to limited police availability on the original date, in line with a recommendation from the Paraná public prosecutor. Kick-off is set for 19:30 at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba.

While the second round of the competition is being played on 4 and 5 February, Corinthians had this fixture placed in the third week of the month because of their Supercopa do Brasil involvement, which ended with a title against Flamengo last Sunday.

This Thursday, away from the league, Corinthians will complete the sixth round of the Campeonato Paulista, facing Capivariano at 20:30 at Neo Química Arena. That match was moved from Sunday, the day of the Supercopa.

In the league schedule, before facing Athletico, Corinthians play the third round on 12 February against Red Bull Bragantino. They began their campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Bahia at Vila Belmiro last Wednesday.
