CBF names Rafael Rodrigo Klein to referee Corinthians v Flamengo Supercopa | OneFootball

Rafael Rodrigo Klein, from Rio Grande do Sul, will referee the Supercopa do Brasil between Corinthians and Flamengo on Sunday 1 February at 16:00 at Mané Garrincha in Brasília. The CBF announced the appointment on Monday during a public hearing on its CBF Arbitragem YouTube channel, adding that the full crew will appear on its website in the coming days.

It will be his ninth Corinthians match, and the club have yet to win under him. Across those games there have been three draws and five defeats, 28 yellow cards, two reds, and one penalty awarded against Corinthians.

In 2024 he also worked at Mané Garrincha, when Corinthians lost 3-1 to São Paulo in the league. He sent off two Corinthians players and awarded a penalty to the visitors, drawing strong protests from supporters.

His most recent Corinthians assignment was the first leg of the 2025 Copa do Brasil final, a 0-0 draw with Vasco da Gama at Neo Química Arena.

Before the Supercopa, Dorival Júnior’s side start their 2026 Brasileirão campaign on Wednesday at 20:00 at Vila Belmiro against Bahia. Anderson Daronco, also from Rio Grande do Sul, will referee.
