CBF opens special transfer window before Brasileirão returns, Corinthians remain under transfer ban

The CBF has opened an extraordinary transfer window during the pause in the Campeonato Brasileiro, the federation announced, to help clubs reorganise before the competition returns.

The measure is aimed at sides facing financial difficulties in the current stoppage.

Corinthians remain under a transfer ban, which prevents the registration of new players until the issue is resolved.

The club is working on solutions to regularise the situation so it can strengthen for the rest of the campaign.

The window will run for 30 days and allows signings of free agents or players released by their teams.
