The federation announced the specific regulations, a base schedule and a general plan for the 2026 Women’s Copa do Brasil. Sereias da Vila will enter in the third phase, with the competition slated to start at the end of April and finish in mid-November. It will feature 66 clubs from the three national tiers.

The competition returned last year, and Caio Couto’s side went out in the third phase. They had entered in the second phase and beat Peróla Negra 3-0, with Analuyza scoring twice and Nath Pitbull adding the third. They then lost 1-0 to América-MG.

There are eight stages, with base dates on 22 April for the preliminary, 29 April for the first phase, 15 May for the second and 27 May for the third. The last 16 is slated for 22 July, the quarter-finals for 5 and 19 August, and the semi-finals for 4 and 8 November.

From the preliminary through to the last 16, ties are one-off eliminators. From the quarter-finals to the final, they are two-legged. The plan seeks participation from every state, with Brasileiro A-3 clubs entering in the first phase, A-2 in the second and A-1 in the third.

The preliminary is expected to include four non-division teams representing missing states, with ties set by draw. Two winners move into the first phase to face A-3 sides, then a fresh draw follows alongside A-2 clubs in the second phase. Another draw precedes the third phase as A-1 teams join, with winners progressing to the last 16 and beyond.
