According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, CD Castellón B have signed goalkeeper Carlos Calavia, 23, from Real Zaragoza to reinforce their Segunda RFEF squad for 2026/27.

The announcement arrived minutes after Juanki’s move to Nàstic de Tarragona, underlining a summer reshape of the goalkeeping group.

Sergi Torner’s promotion to the first team, plus the exits of Jorge Valverde and Juanki, had opened a key vacancy. Castellón B have addressed it with Calavia and Iván Biarge, with youth option Jorge Calduch also in the frame.

Zaragoza-born Calavia progressed through Real Zaragoza’s academy from alevín level, becoming an important figure for Deportivo Aragón, the club’s second team.

He spent four seasons around the senior set-up, regularly training and making matchday squads with the professionals, while logging the bulk of his minutes with the reserves.

Calavia has started more than 60 matches in Segunda RFEF, placing him among the most experienced goalkeepers in the division for his age group. At Castellón B he will compete for the number one spot with Biarge, a summer arrival from Terrassa.
