CD Castellón C squad and coach profiled as debut nears | OneFootball

CD Castellón C have been assembled to reflect the province’s competitive spirit, blending local experience with academy youth ahead of their return to competition.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, head coach Antonio Corbacho has a base of 15 players, largely drawn from clubs in Castellón city and provincial sides, including several B teams. The group will look to dominate the Tercera FFCV, working daily at 20:30 at Chencho.

This is the club’s first second reserve side in more than a decade, which demands extra coordination. The squad must quickly absorb tactical routines for a demanding league group featuring established provincial rivals. The move is designed to keep local talent within the club’s development pathway.

With registrations still open, Adrián Cervera, 29 and arriving from CD Rafalafena, is the most experienced. The youngest are three 18-year-olds, Cristian Lozano from Alqueries CF’s youth team, Raúl Neata from Sporting de Castelló’s youth, and Jorge Zamora from CF La Magdalena.

The rest comprise Adrián Pérez and Andreu Navarro of Almazora B, Adrián Sanz of Borriol, Carlos Segura and Juan Antonio Pozo of L’Alcora B, Hugo Simón and Marc Martos of Rafalafena, Lucas Green of Esportiu Vila-real B, Luis Miralles of Drac Castellón, Roberto Banc of Atzeneta de Castellón and Víctor Mendoza.

The first major test is set for Sunday 20 at 18:00, against CF San Pedro at the Javier Marquina ground.
