CD Castellón start week, two suspended for Las Palmas trip, Gerenabarrena tops fan vote

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, CD Castellón began training on Tuesday at the Globeenergy training centre ahead of Saturday's 21:00 trip to UD Las Palmas.
Head coach Pablo Hernández will speak to the media on Thursday. Midfielders Diego Barri and Marc-Olivier Doué are suspended after an accumulation of bookings.
An online poll named Beñat Gerenabarrena the standout from the Castellón v Deportivo match, with 47% of votes, ahead of Cala on 13% and Camara on 12%.
The club also shared ball-recovery data from the win over Deportivo at SkyFi Castalia. Alberto Jiménez led with 14, followed by Sienra on 12, and Gerenabarrena and Mellot with 11.
Tickets for the next home game at SkyFi Castalia, against Racing de Santander on Saturday 28 February, went on sale today, online only. Season-ticket holders can transfer their ticket or release their seat.
