Everton Cebolinha is negotiating an immediate departure from Flamengo, with his deal running only until December 2026 and no extension agreed. The club are prepared to let him go now if a suitable fee arrives.
According to Coluna Do Fla, three foreign clubs have tabled pre-contract offers, Krasnodar, Colorado Rapids and Fiorentina. His representatives are reviewing the proposals.
The 30-year-old has slipped down the pecking order and has made clear he wants a fresh start. He recently said his cycle at Flamengo had run its course, that he had been happy there but needed new surroundings after almost five seasons.
Inside Brazil, Fluminense and Corinthians explored a move. Talks did not progress due to his salary, and Flamengo had not moved to extend his deal earlier.
Cebolinha joined in 2022 and won two Libertadores, one Brasileirão, two Copas do Brasil, one Supercopa do Brasil and three Cariocas. He has 21 goals and 25 assists for the club.
His last outing was the 1-1 draw with São Paulo at the Maracanã on 26 July. Although fit for the Libertadores on Wednesday 19, head coach Leonardo Jardim left him out of the squad.
A resolution is expected in the coming weeks. The remaining question is which overseas destination he chooses.
