Former Grêmio favourite Éverton Cebolinha is nearing the end of his Flamengo deal and is already eligible to sign a pre-contract for a free move from January 2027. The situation could yet be resolved in the current window.
According to Gremistas.net, he has received three official offers, from Krasnodar of Russia, Colorado Rapids of the United States and Fiorentina of Italy. He is assessing the proposals and could decide his next step in the coming weeks.
Krasnodar were initially closest to an agreement, but competition has left the race open.
Intermediaries offered Éverton to Grêmio earlier this year, but high salary demands prevented talks. While the club value his past contributions, they view the cost as beyond their present budget.
Should he sign a pre-contract elsewhere, Éverton intends to seek an early release from Flamengo. The Rio club would permit an immediate departure to a foreign side, so movement could follow soon.
A Grêmio youth investment after standing out at Fortaleza, Éverton played for the Porto Alegre club from 2014 to 2020 before joining Benfica. He won the 2016 Copa do Brasil, the 2017 Libertadores, the 2018 Recopa Sudamericana and the Gauchão in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
