Celtic have confirmed the arrival of striker Johnny Kenny from League of Ireland side Sligo Rovers.
The 18-year-old impressed in the Irish top flight last season, netting 11 goals for the Bit o’Red to help them to a third place finish.
And that was enough to catch the eye of the Scottish giants, who have signed him to a five-year deal after paying the striker’s €150,000 release clause, per RTE.
He is the fourth arrival of the winter window for the Hoops, who also signed Japanese trio Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi.
It is expected that Kenny will initially make up part of Celtic’s B team.
