Celtic bring their pre-season trip to Portugal to a close tonight with a game against Sporting CP at the Estádio do Algarve (KO: 7.30pm).

And the game will see Kasper Schmeichel in action for the first time this pre-season.

Tonight’s game is a clash of the champions, with both Celtic and Sporting winning their respective league titles last season.

And with both clubs famous for their green and white strips, it will be Celtic who run out in the hoops tonight.

Brendan Rodgers’ side head home after this match, with a pre-season friendly at Paradise against Newcastle United on the horizon this Saturday, and they will look to go into that game on the back of a positive result tonight.
