Highly rated midfielder Cemran Dansin has clinched the Suzuki-Pirates Goal of the Month award for his stunning volley against Mamelodi Sundowns in November.

The 20-year-old was a surprise name in the Buccaneers' starting XI against the defending Betway Premiership champions in the capital last month, but he repaid his coach's faith in him.

Dansin restored parity for Pirates in the 35th minute, unleashing a thunderous volley from outside the box, leaving Ronwen Williams stunned after Peter Shalulile had opened the scoring 15 minutes before.

The player's goal made the rounds across the globe, with many on the socials tipping it to make the shortlist for the FIFA Puskas Award.

Dansin was promoted to the first-team by then-head coach Jose Riveiro at the back end of last season and made his debut in the Spaniard's final game in charge.

Under Abdeslam Ouaddou, the SAFA School of Excellence product has racked up eight appearances thus far, chipping in with a solitary goal and as many assists.
