Pec dominated the First Leg with a hat trick, scoring just six minutes into the match. The contest remained close, but Pec scored in the 89’ and the 90’+6’ to round out the big win.

The 25-year-old followed up on his hat-trick performance with a brace in the Second Leg in Jamaica. With his team up 1-nil, 4-nil on aggregate, Pec added goals in the 61’ and 87’ to leave Kingston with a 3-nil win.

Pec accounted for five of the six goals his team scored in the Round of 16 and became the Brazilian with the most goals scored for LA Galaxy in Champions Cup history. He is now the club’s second all-time scorer in the tournament, only behind Robbie Keane (9).

With his performance, Pec also took the lead in the race for the Top Scorer Award of this year’s edition. The Galaxy now prepares to face Deportivo Toluca FC in the Quarterfinals.
