Gabriel Silva move to Braga nets Palmeiras about eight million reais | OneFootball

Palmeiras are set to receive around eight million reais after forward Gabriel Silva was confirmed as a new signing for Braga. The Portuguese club concluded a deal worth three point five million euros following his strong spell at Santa Clara.

According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras had retained 50% of any fee above one million euros on a future sale, in addition to a solidarity mechanism percentage. This structure delivers the estimated payout to the Brazilian club.

Silva was prolific in Palmeiras' youth ranks but struggled to secure a run under Abel Ferreira. He made 32 first-team appearances, scoring two goals.

He was part of the 2022 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior winners alongside Endrick.

Palmeiras continue to prioritise developing academy players for the first team and generating future transfer revenue to bolster the club's finances.
