A source close to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed that the date for the quarter-final draw of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup for the 2025-2026 season is now almost set, pending official confirmation from the continental body.

According to reports from Egyptian outlet FilGoal, the draw ceremony is expected to take place on Tuesday, February 17, starting at 11:00 a.m. (GMT). At this point, CAF has yet to issue an official statement to definitively confirm this date.The same source indicates that CAF headquarters, located in the 6th of October City in the Giza governorate of Egypt, is set to host the event. Representatives from the qualified clubs, along with several CAF officials, are expected to attend.

Seven clubs already qualified

On the pitch, seven teams have already clinched their spots in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals after the sixth and final round of the group stage. The qualified clubs are Espérance Sportive de Tunis, RS Berkane, Al Ahly SC, Al Hilal, Mamelodi Sundowns, Pyramids FC, and Stade Malien.However, one berth in Group B remains up for grabs. The battle continues between AS FAR Rabat and Tanzania's Young Africans, as they vie for the last qualifying ticket to join Al Ahly in the next round.
