The Gabon international provided two assists and scored a goal in OM’s resounding 4-0 win over Ajax Amsterdam in the Champions League. Starting the match as captain, the Gabonese forward immediately handed the armband to Pierre-Emile Højbjerg when the Dane came on in the 61st minute. This gesture was highlighted by Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi at the end of the match.
