Both top clubs are also delivering top results nationally. Bayern crushed SC Freiburg 6:2 at the weekend and remain top of the table. Lennart Karl summed it up after the game: „Everyone knows that we are very, very good offensively.“ 41 Bundesliga goals in eleven games speak for themselves.

CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen made it clear: „We are approaching the game with respect. Arsenal are not Premier League leaders for no reason. This will be a real top match.“

The Gunners arrive with confidence: a 4:1 win in the derby against Tottenham, an Eze treble and first place in the table – six points ahead of Chelsea.
