Chapecoense host RB Bragantino in the Brasileirão on Sunday, 3 May 2026 at Arena Condá, with the bottom side chasing vital points while the visitors aim to consolidate their top-half standing.
Chapecoense are 20th on eight points from 12 games, while RB Bragantino sit eighth with 17 from 13. The visitors also won both league meetings in 2021.
Chape's recent league run has been tough, with defeats to Botafogo (4-1), Athletico Paranaense (2-0) and Fluminense (2-1) after a draw with Vitória. Braga's last five in all competitions brought wins over Flamengo (3-0) and Remo (4-2), a draw with Mirassol, then narrow losses to Palmeiras and River Plate.
The hosts list Yannick Bolasie, Giovanni Augusto, Bruno Matias, Italo and Robert as injured, with Doma suspended. For the visitors, Juninho Capixaba is banned, while Fabrício, Guzmán Rodríguez, Bruninho, Vanderlan and Davi Gomes are sidelined.
Massa Bruta have scored 15 and conceded 15 in 13 league games, so getting supply into Isidro Pitta or Eduardo Sasha could be a key route forward. Verdão do Oeste have shipped 24 in 12 and sit at -12 goal difference, so tightening up at Arena Condá will be central to their hopes.
A win would take Chape to 11 points and could cut the gap to safety. Three points would move Braga to 20 and could strengthen their Copa Sudamericana push while keeping them firmly in the top half.
