Chelsea have agreed a fee in principle with Corinthians for Brazilian teenager Denner Evangelista worth just under €15m according to Ben Jacobs.
The Blues have heavily targeted the South American market under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership, making a number of signings from the continent.
Andrey Santos is currently thriving at Strasbourg, whilst two of South America’s most exciting talents Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian will join in the summer.
The Blues are always on the lookout for the latest stars of the future, and have been linked with 16-year-old Ajax sensation Jorthy Mokio.
Despite facing a crucial summer window with the club needing to sign players in multiple areas of the squad, the Blues have already agreed a deal for 2026.
Jacobs has reported Chelsea have agreed a deal in principle with Brazilian side Corinthians to sign 17-year-old Denner.
Chelsea have agreed a deal in principle for 17-year-old Denner.
He took to X.com and said:
“Update here on Denner, who Chelsea are set to sign in 2026 for a total package of just under €15m. Fee agreed in principle with Corinthians.”
Journalist Uriel Iugt took to X.com and added the full back would sign a seven year contract and will arrive at the club in 2026 once he turns 18.
Denner is a left back and has come through the ranks at Corinthians where he’s made 18 appearances to date for the club’s under-20 side.
The teenage prospect has four goals and one assist in those appearances and Chelsea clearly see enough talent in him that he could be a future star.

However, it’s likely to be quite a while until Denner is seen in a Chelsea shirt given he can’t join until 2026, and he will likely go on one or two loan spells to continue his development.
Chelsea also have Caleb Wiley on their books who is another young left back, so quite what the thinking is with the Denner signing is unclear, but fans will be hoping he turns out to be a bargain and has great success at the club.
