Moreover, Romano provided new information, revealing that Williams is prioritizing joining Barcelona this summer. He wants to move to the Catalan side, and talks continue to reach an agreement on personal terms.

However, The Athletic also reports that Barcelona’s financial situation makes it unlikely Williams could move to them this summer. The 2024 Euro winner has a reported release clause of €58 million.

Last month, a report from CaughtOffside revealed that Williams has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain.
