Shamrock have been fined €10,000 (£8,450) for "transmitting a message that is not fit for a sports event" following chants about the death of Queen Elizabeth II at the match at Stamford Bridge on December 19.

Chelsea fans responded with an anti-IRA chant. The London club have also been fined €10,000 by UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB).

The Blues thrashed Shamrock 5-1 to complete a perfect record in the Conference League group stage as they secured an automatic last-16 spot.

Shamrock finished 10th to earn a place in the knockout play-off round, where they will face Norwegian side Molde over two legs next month.
