Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is an academy attacker we’re all really excited about, and his debut reminded some of a similar player not long ago.

Chelsea trounced Port Vale pretty comfortable on Saturday, but there was more going on than just the result, as they pointed out on the London is Blue podcast this week.
“The story of this game, for us, was Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, who everyone’s been touting as the next Cobham academy graduate to make it at Chelsea, and you can really see that being RKM for sure,” presenter Nick Verlaney said.
“And you know, I think it’s just always special to see a debut. We all remember Callum Hudson-Odoi’s debut back in 2018, and honestly the energy that that injected to a team that was really floundering midway through that year.”
RKM’s debut has come much later in the season than many would have hoped, and he may not get the chance to feature again, but it did give a nice boost to the mood in general, especially among the fanbase who were annoyed to not see a start for Josh Acheampong.

Thierry Henry’s take on what Chelsea should do with Estevao Willian is very clear, and we can’t disagree with it at all.
Enzo Fernandez continues to be linked with moves away from Chelsea, but there’s a major problem with those stories.
