Chelsea are among the Premier League clubs targeting a deal to sign Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United.

Summerville is expected to leave Leeds after the club missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season, with defeat in the Championship play-off final set to lead to big-name exits.

Archie Gray has completed a £40m move to Tottenham Hotspur and Summerville looks likely to be the next high-profile departure from Elland Road.

The 22-year-old was named EFL Championship Player of the Season and Leeds United Players’ Player of the Season for 2023-24 after scoring 20 league goals and providing nine assists.

Chelsea are monitoring Summerville’s situation, according to Foot Mercato, who claim French side Rennes are battling four Premier League clubs for the Dutchman’s signature.

Rennes view Summerville as a potential replacement for Desire Doue who has been subject of approaches from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

Chelsea, meanwhile, want to add another wide option after missing out on the signing of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich. Aston Villa have also been named of suitors of Summerville, with Moussa Diaby in talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.
