The weekend is over and we’re into the international break, time to look back at that last round of fixtures and see what we think.
It was an important one for Chelsea, who took advantage of dropped points all around them to leap up the table to second place.

The team of the week for Gameweek 11 in the Premier League.
Chelsea have three players in the Premier League team of the week following yesterday’s games – always a sign that things have gone well. After beating Wolves 3-0, the Blues have Wesley Fofana, Pedro Neto and Joao Pedro in the best XI from the division this week.
It could be even better – Enzo Fernandez was great and probably only misses out because he didn’t get on the scoresheet, while Nico Gonzales of Man City and Amadou Onana of Aston Villa did. Alejandro Garnacho was great too, and just can’t compete with a superb showing from Jeremy Doku in Man City’s win.
Still, to have a player from each row of the team in the mix like this is a very positive outcome and hopefully a sign that Chelsea are rounding into form. The international break is frustrating in disrupting that, but we’re looking on the bright side and thinking of the rest it will allow some players, as well as the extra time for the likes of Cole Palmer and Benoit Badiashile to close in on a return to action.
In terms of interesting stats, we also looked at Chelsea’s top rated players in the whole league. There’s a striker, a defender and a midfielder in there.
It wasn’t all good news for Chelsea – several players have question marks over their fitness after the game last night, and Enzo Maresca gave an update on all of them.
