Chelsea looking to sign Jennifer Echegini from PSG

Chelsea are expected to make another bid for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Jennifer Echegini before the end of the transfer window.

The Blues have previously attempted to sign the 24-year-old and had their bid turned down by PSG. However, according to journalist Kathryn Batte of The Telegraph, the Blues are set to make an improved offer before tomorrow's WSL deadline.

Born in the Netherlands, Echegini moved to England at a young age, featuring in Arsenal's youth team before playing at college level in the USA.

After an impressive brief stint at Juventus, Echegini was signed by Paris Saint-Germain and has since played 43 games for the French side, scoring 10 goals and making eight assists.
