Morgan Rogers continued his impressive start to life at Chelsea with another big moment against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday.

With just two minutes gone, the ball fell kindly to the former Aston Villa man and he struck the ball into the bottom corner to put his side in front.

It means Xabi Alonso's men have taken the lead inside the first five minutes of all of their Premier League matches so far this season.

They become the first side to do so in three successive matches since Newcastle all the way back in December 2024, and the first side to do so in the first three matches of a Premier League season altogether.

Summer signing Rogers, who was also linked with Arsenal in the summer, has been integral with a goal involvement in every league game so far, more than any other summer signing.

Unfortunately for Chelsea, they take the lead but can't maintain it. Soon after, Arsenal thought they'd equalised through Riccardo Calafiori, but the goal was ultimately ruled out for offside.

Then Kai Havertz did put the Gunners back on level terms with a crucial goal against his former club.
