Raheem Sterling is not having an easy time of it.
The winger is almost forgotten in the fast-moving world of football as he’s been frozen out of Chelsea’s first team squad after they failed to find a move away from the club in the summer.

Now the Daily Telegraph are reporting the horrific news that the winger has been the subject of a home invasion while he was in the house with his family.
“The invasion took place at the Chelsea player’s Berkshire residence on Saturday night around 6.30pm, and it is the second time Sterling’s family home has been targeted. It is understood masked men tried to break into the house. The details of the attack remain unclear,” their exclusive on the incident read.
“We can confirm that Raheem Sterling was the victim of a home break-in this weekend,” a spokesperson for Sterling said.
“We can also confirm that he and his children were present at home at the time. Whilst the ultimate violation of privacy and safety, we are thankful to be able to confirm that he and his loved ones are all safe. We ask that the privacy of Raheem and his loved ones be respected at this challenging time.”
The previous incident came in 2022, when Sterling was forced to leave England’s base at the Qatar World Cup to return home after a similar incident.
Trevoh Chalobah finally got his latest England call up after Marc Guehi pulled out of the Three Lions squad. We reckon he can make the final squad next summer if he impresses in the next fortnight.
In other international news, Pedro Neto has pulled out of the Portugal squad for a rest so he can manage his ongoing injury, just as we predicted yesterday.
