Wolves interim boss James Collins praised Chelsea for one thing they did very well at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.
Chelsea ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against the Premier League’s bottom club to momentarily move into second place in the league.
After a goalless first half Malo Gusto, Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto got on the scoresheet to give the Blues their sixth league win of the season.
Wolves held firm in the first half, although Chelsea should have scored with the number of chances they created, and Enzo Fernandez should have had a couple of assists.
However, Chelsea broke the Wolves resistance six minutes into the second half, and from then on they couldn’t live with the Blues attack.

After the game Collins praised Chelsea for the their counter attacking, which was highlighted perfectly by Neto’s goal.
“I felt that the shackles came off a bit as the boys thought we were behind, but we didn’t quite hold our structure, and we created some moments, we got on top a bit, and that was our foothold in the game, but I always knew the back door was open at the other end,” he told the Wolves website.
“They counter attacked brilliantly.
“When you come to a place like this, you have to keep it tight. I think they’ve scored in 25 out of the last 26 games.”
Whilst he may not have scored Alejandro Garnacho turned in his best performance in a Chelsea shirt as he registered two assists.

Maresca admitted he was very happy with Garnacho after the game, and he’s now got four goal contributions in his last four games.
The Argentine was direct against Wolves, took his man on and made the right decisions in the final third, and Chelsea fans will be hoping to see this level of performance on a more consistent basis.
