Chelsea put three players on the market

Chelsea are looking to trim their large squad before the window closes, with three players moved towards the exit.

According to Superdeporte, Marc Guiu, David Datro Fofana and Axel Disasi have not been assigned first-team squad numbers and have been offered to the market in the final stretch of the window.

Guiu endured an unsuccessful loan at Sunderland that lasted three matches and has barely featured for Chelsea. Signed from FC Barcelona, the Catalan forward is available for 30 million euros or on loan if no convincing bid arrives.

Fofana, a 1.82 m centre-forward, is coming off an unproductive spell at Strasbourg. Chelsea want a sale, though a loan or a reduced fee may be needed.

Disasi is a centre-back who was also loaned out and did not convince, in his case at West Ham United who were relegated, where he played only 14 games. Chelsea are weighing another loan or a low transfer for him.
