Today we’ve been reading TeamTalk, who have interesting claims about a talented young Italian striker. Our last young number 9 imported from the continent as a teenager was Marc Guiu, and that worked out as a profitable move even though he rarely played and had a bungled loan move.

Camarda looks a hard deal for Chelsea to pull off

Now it seems like we might repeat the trick. We’re being linked with Francesco Camarda, the 18 year old AC Milan starlet. He’s already made his senior debut for Italy and is certainly highly rated.

He’s apparently keen for more first team football – we’re not sure how he would get that at Chelsea. In fact, this whole deal sounds very unlikely. Guiu was available for a bargain price, but there’s no reason Camarda would be the same story. We’re sure we’ve got scouts watching him, but it’s hard to see a move being tempting for him right now.
