Chelsea recall Kendry Páez from Strasbourg loan and reach agreement with River Plate | OneFootball

Chelsea have recalled Kendry Páez (18) from his loan at Strasbourg, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. The Ecuadorian international playmaker will return to Stamford Bridge before making another loan move during the winter transfer window. 

Páez struggled during his time in Ligue 1. Despite there being plenty of promise as he made the temporary switch to the Alsatian outfit, the attacking midfielder has only amassed 420 minutes of playing time in the French top flight. The 18-year-old has scored 1 goal in his 15 Ligue 1 appearances. 

Páez to join River Plate on loan

As one loan move comes to an end, the playmaker is set to join a new club on loan. Chelsea have reached an agreement with River Plate over a loan move for the Ecuadorian attacking midfielder. He will now travel to Argentina to complete a medical before being unveiled as a new player of the Buenos Aires outfit.
