Although it hasn’t yet been officially announced, Chelsea have come to terms on a new contract agreement with hot prospect Tino Anjorin.

The 18-year-old is one of the highest regarded prospects to come out of Cobham in recent years, no mean feat either, and the club have been keen to tie him down to an extension.

Goal report that both parties have now agreed to a deal in principle that will see Anjorin commit his future to Chelsea until the summer of 2025.

His current contract is due to expire next year but the attack-minded midfielder will soon pen a deal that sees him stay at the side he has represented since the age of six.

Anjorin made his senior debut earlier this season in an EFL Cup win over Grimsby before being handed his Premier League bow this year as a second half substitute in a 4-0 victory over Everton.

That game was the Blues’ last before football was shut down in order to help cope with the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition to Anjorin, Chelsea have also ear-marked Tammy Abraham for a contract extension but no deal has been struck yet, although their is optimism on the part of the club that he will agree a deal.
