Chelsea ‘to consider’ Rosenior future before Leeds semi-final

Chelsea are weighing up the future of head coach Liam Rosenior ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final with Leeds United after a 3-0 defeat at Brighton deepened their slump.

According to Sky Sports, Rosenior remains in post for now, but the hierarchy are discussing next steps and a change could happen before Wembley.

The Blues arrived at the Amex on Tuesday after four straight Premier League defeats without scoring. Brighton won 3-0, leaving Chelsea beaten in five successive league games without a goal for the first time since 1912.

The club are taking stock following that result and the players were given a day off.

Wembley now awaits, and it remains unclear whether Rosenior will be in the dugout for the semi-final.
