Xabi Alonso's Chelsea squad is starting to take shape as the club continues talks off the pitch to both strengthen and trim the side for the upcoming season.
Chelsea have already welcomed Marco Palestra and Morgan Rogers to the club, while several departures have also been finalised.
Marc Cucurella, Tyrique George and Andrey Santos have all departed Stamford Bridge on permanent deals, with many set to follow them out of Stamford Bridge come the end of the summer window.
It's been another busy week for Chelsea with ongoing negotiations ahead of their pre-season tour to Australia and Asia this week.
The 22-year-old's season-long loan switch to Aston Villa was completed on Thursday, which sees the Argentine link up with Unai Emery, who was keen to bring in the winger.
Garnacho's switch to Villa Park includes an obligation clause which will make the move permanent next summer should certain criteria be met. It is believed to be based on a certain number of appearances.
It ends his short stint in west London after joining in a £40m deal from Manchester United last summer. He scored eight goals and made four assists in 43 appearances in all competitions.
After joining Villa, Garnacho said: "I’m really happy to be here. I can’t wait to start on the pitch. It’s an important club that is growing really quickly, so I can’t wait to get started."
Talks with Crystal Palace are ongoing over bringing Maxence Lacroix to Stamford Bridge this summer to bolster Alonso's defence.
Representatives from both clubs met in the United States earlier this month as Chelsea look to wrap up a deal for Lacroix, who is valued at least £60m.
As reported by the Daily Telegraph, Crystal Palace have brought up Axel Disasi, who is being eyed for a potential season-long loan deal.
Chelsea would prefer to sell Disasi, who they value in excess of £25m, permanently, with interest being shown from clubs in Italy.

Despite talks taking place, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Disasi will not be joining Crystal Palace on loan this summer.
Chelsea are looking at a mixture of players to add to their squad, both with experience and raw talent.
Also revealed by the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea are looking the most likely to land Bayer Leverkusen winger Kerim Alajbegovic, 18.
He is attracting interest from many clubs; however, Chelsea are now the favourites to land the £30m-rated Bosnian teenager.
Alonso, who won the Bundesliga at Bayer Leverkusen, is suggested to be 'enthusiastic' about the prospect of bringing Alajbegovic to the English capital.
