Enzo Maresca says Chelsea trio Joao Pedro, Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos will be assessed ahead of the Champions League clash with Benfica.

All three are struggling with minor issues, the Blues boss says, and are doubts to take on Jose Mourinho’s side on Tuesday.

“They are all players, unfortunately for us, with small problems,” he said.

“We see if tomorrow they are going to be available. But we have a squad big enough to replace the injuries we have.”

Maresca also says he is looking forward to coming up against former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in the dugout.

“It’s an absolute honour to be facing Jose Mourinho tomorrow,” he said. “He is not just a legend at this club, he is a legend at a lot of clubs. It will be a privilege to face Jose tomorrow.”
