Brown is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea but she has represented the club in the Professional Game Academy League. The teenager is very much one for the future and she may be loaned out to gain first team experience in the coming months.

On the international stage, Brown has represented England up to and including Under-17 level. She will be hoping to push for further honours with The Young Lionesses as her club career progresses.

After signing her first professional deal with Chelsea, Brown said “I’ve always been a Chelsea fan since I was a little girl, so it’s an absolute dream to sign my first contract. It’s an amazing feeling.”

Chelsea’s Head of Women’s Football, Paul Green also said “Lola is a very bright prospect and we’re delighted that she has signed her first professional contract with the club at the age of 17.

“We’ve got really high hopes for her in the future and look forward to seeing her develop and improve in the upcoming years.”

Brown will continue her development within the Chelsea academy system until the club determine the next course of action.
