Club Deportivo Guadalajara is loyal to its traditions, and this Friday it arrived punctually at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe to celebrate the traditional Sportsman's Mass and give thanks for everything it has experienced in 2025, as well as entrusting its future to the year that is about to begin.

The 2012 class of the Rojiblanca Youth Academy had the honor of representing the institution in this tradition that dates back to 1960. On this occasion, the Mass was officiated by the Secretary Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Guadalajara, Rev. Dr. Javier Magdaleno Cueva. During the Eucharistic ceremony, the players participated by reading from the Holy Scriptures and the Responsorial Psalm. They also had the opportunity to spend time with the Archbishop, Don Francisco Robles Ortega.

In this way, Chivas reaffirms its spiritual bond with 'La Morenita del Tepeyac' and maintains this Rojiblanca tradition that for years has allowed us to join in the profession of faith, as do many Mexicans on this date.
