Chivas Connect With the Oakland Community | OneFootball

Chivas’ presence in the United States provides an opportunity for thousands of fans of Mexico’s most popular and beloved club to watch the players they love take the field. It also offers the chance to connect with the Latino community living across the United States.

During their visit to Oakland to play El Clásico de México, the Rebaño took time to connect with local residents by visiting the Unity Council, an organization that provides support programs for children, adults and seniors in the community.

José Castillo, Bryan González and Miguel Gómez represented the rojiblancos at the event, which took place following the team’s morning training session. The players signed autographs, took photos and created a memorable experience for everyone who attended with the excitement of meeting and greeting members of the Guadalajara squad.

To conclude the gathering with the Oakland community, the players posed beneath a giant figure of La Catrina, a symbol of Mexican tradition and culture during this time of year, adding a special touch to the celebration ahead of the matchup between Chivas and the Águilas.
