Irapuato, Guanajuato.– After a decade, Guadalajara returned to Irapuato and, as expected, the stands at the Estadio Sergio León Chávez witnessed a true red-and-white celebration. Chivahermanos made their presence felt from start to finish as El Rebaño Sagrado cruised to a 4-0 victory over La Trinca, in what marked their first preseason friendly on the road to the Clausura 2026.The match was thoroughly dominated by the side coached by Gabriel Milito, who imposed their style from the opening minute, creating constant danger and showing multiple attacking options. Just nine minutes in, Roberto Alvarado opened the scoring for Chivas after a brilliant assist from Ángel Sepúlveda, who left him alone in the six-yard box. Later, in the 41st minute, ‘El Cuate’ struck again by delivering a perfectly weighted pass to Richard Ledezma, who simply tapped the ball into the back of the net.In the second half, Guadalajara made several changes, allowing the Argentine manager to see different players in action, all of whom responded well and extended the lead. In the 46th minute, Samir Inda scored a fine goal with a right-footed finish inside the box, and just three minutes later, Sergio Aguayo found the net as well, following an assist from Ricardo Marín.Overall, El Rebaño Sagrado left very positive impressions both in and out of possession, making it clear that the team will look to further develop the playing style proposed by Gabriel Milito. After this victory, Chivas will return to Guadalajara to continue their intense preparation ahead of the Clausura 2026.Irapuato 0-4 Chivas(Roberto Alvarado 9’, Richard Ledezma 41’, Samir Inda 46’, Sergio Aguayo 49’)Estadio Sergio León ChávezChivas Starting Lineup – First HalfRaúl Rangel; Richard Ledezma, Daniel Aguirre, Luis Romo, Miguel Tapias, Bryan González; Omar Govea, Efraín Álvarez, Brian Gutiérrez; Roberto Alvarado, Ángel Sepúlveda.Chivas Starting Lineup – Second HalfÓscar Whalley; Miguel Gómez, Gilberto Sepúlveda, Francisco Méndez, Leonardo Jiménez; Samir Inda, Yael Padilla, Hugo Camberos, Santiago Sandoval; Ricardo Marín, Sergio Aguayo.
