Chivas returns to Irapuato after 10 years! | OneFootball

Chivahermanos of Irapuato, the moment you've been waiting for has arrived! After a 10-year absence, Chivas returns to Sergio León Chávez to face La Trinca Fresera on December 28, in what will be their first warm-up match ahead of the 2026 Clausura Tournament.

The last time Guadalajara visited Irapuato, the Guadalajara team won by the smallest of margins with a goal from Erick "El Cubo" Torres in a match corresponding to Week 5 of the 2015 Clausura MX Cup.We are confident that a true red-and-white carnival will be experienced. Ticket sales will be available exclusively at the stadium box office and will begin on Saturday, December 20, and Sunday, December 21, for Club Irapuato season ticket holders. General public sales will start on December 22.
