Rasmus Højlund played a starring role as Napoli beat Milan 2-0 in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final.
Scorers: Neres 39', Højlund 63
Neither side could carve out a big opportunity in the opening 40 minutes and Eljif Elmas' 20-yard shot straight at Mike Maignan was the closest either side came to an early goal.

The game opened up as the half progressed and Scott McTominay shot inches wide before Adrie Rabiot headered over the bar from close range.
Napoli took the lead with five minutes remaining in the first half when David Neres was well placed inside the six-yard box to tap into the net from Rasmus Højlund's low cross.
Højlund then turned goalscorer mid-way through the second half by dribbling into Milan's area and drilling a low shot through Maignan's legs and into the net.
Milan almost replied through Youssouf Fofana's towering header, but Vanja Milinković-Savić produced a strong save to preserve Napoli's advantage.
Antonio Conte's side will face the winner of tomorrow's second Supercoppa Italiana clash between Bologna and Inter. The final will take place on Monday, December 22.
