Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu has transformed Piotr Zielinski into a force to be reckoned with after a poor first season at San Siro.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 31-year-old has become the best version of himself this term.
Piotr Zielinski joined Inter from Napoli in 2024 as one of the most skilled midfielders in Europe’s top-five leagues, let alone Serie A.
However, the Polish star failed to settle in Simone Inzaghi’s system last season, casting doubt on his future at San Siro.
Furthermore, Inter had even considered selling the ex-Udinese playmaker in the summer, only for Cristian Chivu to block his exit.

Marred by injuries, Zielinski often looked bereft of confidence in 2024/25.
In stark contrast, he has enjoyed a remarkable resurgence under Chivu, looking sharper, more decisive, and far closer to his Napoli peak.
Indeed, the 45-year-old has breathed new life into Zielinski’s game, placing him at the heart of Inter’s attacking build-up.
Therefore, Zielinski has become everything Inter chiefs had hoped he would be when they signed him 18 months ago.
