Inter Milan’s third straight Serie A victory under Cristian Chivu came with another dominant performance against Cremonese and, according to Alberto Polverosi, the coach has Piero Ausilio to thank for it.
Writing in Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, Polverosi praised Inter’s “imposing, monstrous, even exaggerated” display against Cremonese.
The Nerazzurri won 4-1, with Ange-Yoan Bonny recording three assists and a goal on his first start for Inter.
The Frenchman followed Chivu in leaving Parma for Lombardy in the summer and rewarded his coach’s faith in him.
However, it was not just Bonny, the whole team seemed to have taken it up a level.
The journalist called it “a total form of domination – technical, tactical, and physical.” But he singled out the club’s revamped attack as the key difference from last season.

“In this case, Chivu must thank Ausilio,” Polverosi noted.
“The two new forwards, Bonny and Pio Esposito, have made the attack much stronger and more complete. Lautaro no longer has to exhaust himself linking midfield and attack – a role he did well, but one that took him too far from goal.”
The journalist highlighted how the changes have sharpened the captain’s edge.
“Last year after seven matches, Lautaro had three goals. Now he already has five. With Bonny, Thuram, and Esposito, Chivu can rotate freely.
“Whichever pairing he chooses, there are no weak spots. A team like this frightens the entire league.”
