Chris Sutton singles out two Celtic stars after Tannadice Victory | OneFootball

Chris Sutton has praised Celtic after Martin O’Neill’s side swept Dundee United aside to book their place in the next round of the Premier Sports Cup.

The Hoops cruised to a convincing 4-0 victory at Tannadice on Saturday, with Auston Trusty, Camilo Duran, Sebastien Tounekti and Benjamin Nygren all getting on the scoresheet.

It was a far more comfortable afternoon than Celtic experienced against Dundee United last season, when the Tangerines proved difficult opponents.

Sutton was quick to highlight that contrast after watching O’Neill’s side make light work of their hosts.

The former Celtic striker said on X: “Celtic dismissed Dundee United with ease. That’s pretty impressive after last season’s struggles against them.

“Delighted for Camilo Duran getting his goal. Nygren’s goal was terrific.”

Duran’s strike continued a promising start to life at Celtic, while Nygren capped the victory with an impressive fourth as the Hoops progressed comfortably to the quarter-finals where they will face Rangers at Ibrox.
