The club confirmed on Thursday that defender Christ Tapé has signed a four-year contract to 2030, joining from AC Horsens for approximately 2.5 million euros.

The 20-year-old Ivory Coast youth international becomes their second recruit of the summer. The left-footed centre-back was promoted to the Danish top flight with his former club at the end of last season.

Able to play centrally or on the left, Tapé had been tracked by several French sides since moving to Europe in 2024. Lens last summer and Reims late in the campaign both showed interest, without reaching an agreement.

He has made 58 senior appearances and completed a full season with Horsens, featuring in 30 matches with one goal and one assist.

Tapé joins right-back Ismaïl Diallo among Toulouse’s summer arrivals. He could provide cover for the announced departure of Charlie Cresswell.
