Manchester City Women will travel to Australia this August to take part in the first-ever Perth International Football Cup in preparation for the 2024/25 season.

For the first time in the Club's history, City will travel to Australia from 21 August - 2 September and will be joined by Paris Saint Germain and fellow Barclays Women’s Super League sides West Ham United and Leicester City in the pre-season tournament.

The Perth International Football Cup will see two semi-finals played at HBF Park, with City opening proceedings against Leicester City on Wednesday 28 August.

This will be followed the next day by West Ham United v Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday 29 August.

The Optus Stadium will then play host to a thrilling doubleheader of action on Sunday 1 September with a third-place play-off fixture, followed by a final fixture between the two winning sides of the semi-finals to crown the champions of the tournament.

During the club’s visit to Perth, a number of activities will take place - including an open training session - for fans to engage with players such as Matildas stars Mary Fowler and Alanna Kennedy, 2023-24 WSL Player of the Season and WSL top goal scorer Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, amongst others.
