PREVIOUS MEETING

We last faced Feyenoord at the Etihad Stadium in November 2017 in Group F, with Raheem Sterling’s strike enough to secure victory and top spot in the group.

That match is fondly remembered by all associated with City, as Phil Foden became the Club’s youngest ever Champions League player, making his debut aged just 17.

In the reverse fixture earlier in the same season, we secured a convincing 4-0 victory in the Netherlands.

LAST TIME OUT

Matchday Four of the league phase saw City fall to defeat away to Sporting CP.

Phil Foden put us ahead, but a Viktor Gyokeres hat-trick, added to by a Maximiliano Araujo goal, saw Pep Guardiola’s men defeated.

We also fell to a league defeat on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium, with Tottenham Hotspur securing a 4-0 victory.

As for Feyenoord, they were beaten at home in Matchday Four against RB Leipzig, with the German visitors earning a 3-1 victory.

In league terms, the Dutch side sealed a comfortable 3-0 victory over Heerenveen on Saturday.
